HON. KOJO OFORI-SAFO - Managing Director
Hon. Kojo Ofori-Safo is a distinguished corporate leader, currently serving as the Managing Director of Cocoa Processing Company PLC. He brings on board rich expertise in project management, strategic management, risk management, corporate governance, financial management and tax planning.
Hon. Ofori-Safo is a strategic thinker with passion for driving change and fostering growth. His outstanding communication skills and ability to inspire those around makes him an influential figure in both the Private and Public Sectors, with years of experience at the Ministry of Works & Housing, Water Resources, Ministry for Private Sector & President’s Special Initiatives on Oil Palm, the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Information for the period 2000 to 2004.
He became the Coordinator of the Ghana Investors’ Advisory Council, chaired by H. E. President John Agyekum Kuffour and whose mandate with a mandate to advice government in shaping Ghana’s Investments drive.
As a Senior Revenue Officer and Team Lead of the Eastern Regional Tax Audit Team of Ghana Revenue Authority formally Internal Revenue Service from 1994 to 2000 he assisted in improving revenue mobilization in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
He was Executive Director of Case Consult and Management Services Limited providing asset management and debt recovery serving both local and international institutions.
As the Chief Operating Officer of Knight Lamp Limited, he was the leader responsible for planning and ensuring the business goals and objectives for the company.
Prior to his appointment in January 2024, as the Managing Director of CPC, Hon. Kojo Ofori-Safo had served as the Municipal Chief Executive of Abuakwa South Municipal Assembly from 2019 to 2021.
He holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Business Administration in Project Management from the University of Ghana Business School, Legon and Master of Arts in Ports & Shipping Administration from the Regional Maritime University-Accra. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast.
